Professionalism, compassion and value personified!It is a common belief that moving house is one of life's most stressful experiences. However as recent vendors my husband and I know that need not be the case as we proved to ourselves by placing our instructions with Latcham Dowling Estate Agents of Wyboston. As a relatively new company (established in 2021) we had not even heard of them until they sold in a matter of days two properties in the road to which we were moving. From our first meeting with Gary Latcham (one of the two Directors) we knew we were dealing with a professional company with a different, but extremely successful, approach to sales. At the start Gary was made aware of the difficult personal circumstances which were instrumental in our need to move and he took this to heart. He never failed in his promise to guide us through the whole process and nothing proved to be too much trouble for him even outside normal working hours. Within five days of marketing we had no less than three offers on the house with two above the asking price. Through his and his team's constant hard work on our case the sale was completed in 122 days, some 28 days quicker than the national average of 150 days! Not only did we sell our house and move to a place more suitable for our needs but we feel we gained a friend along the line. After a chance meeting with Gary and a brief conversation some months later we decided to make the move. Gary's manor and knowledge stood out from the crowd and after a relaxed meeting it was clear that Latcham Dowling would best represent us and the property. Selling the property was the easy part and achieving a great price was credit to the team. Through the Never ending legal process LD's commitment, knowledge, support and friendship far exceeded expectations and duty.Estate agency done properly. A huge Thank you to all the team.

Latcham & Dowling were recommended to us by friends and we are very pleased to say it was a very pleasant experience from the start to completion. Dealing with James, Gary and Joe L&D with out any doubt proved there are great estate agents out there with personnel approach and professionalism from all the team .I was particularly impressed by Gary with the regular weekly and sometimes daily communication with updates. We felt assured that our house was in safe hands throughout the selling process and the advice received was spot on and importantly trusted.They have certainly raised the bar with customer service and satisfaction...HIGHLY RECOMENDED.

I had dealt with Gary a couple of times before in buying and selling properties so I knew I could trust him to do a good job, but I was also really impressed with the rest of the team at Latcham Dowling who were always so friendly and helpful.Gary is always easy to get hold of and quick to respond to any questions. He’s great at chasing the parties involved to keep the sale moving, and he makes the process of buying/selling a house smooth and stress-free. Gary always goes above and beyond, he even offered to pick up my signed contract and drop them off at the solicitors for me as I was struggling to find time with a 6 month old baby!I really can’t recommend Latcham Dowling enough and I would definitely use them again.

We have built up a relationship with Gary over the last year and have been delighted in how he quickly sold our house. The service that we have received is what you truly expect from an estate agent, and having experienced many others it's simply not the case for all.Gary has gone above and beyond to communicate with us, almost daily, to keep us updated in the process, answered additional queries and went above and beyond with after-care in our new home purchase!From the beginning I have been put at ease and have felt more than comfortable welcoming Gary into our home, especially during a pandemic. His service has been paramount! We even had additional pet concerns, having indoor cats, but that was never an issue and I felt reassured that they were in good hands once we left our house. I can safely say our furry friends look forward to his visits now as they even get a fuss!If I could award 10 stars I certainly would and wouldn't look further to find a better estate agent in the future. Like many things, you get what you pay and you don't half get value for money with Latcham Dowling!

Gary is top of his game when it comes to making sure things go smoothly, he has a depth of knowledge as a estate agent and is not only supportive throughout the process, he cares a great deal about his clients being happy from the start to the end. I would strongly recommend Gary if you’re looking to buy or sell a property, because attention to detail is everything right now and being able to rely on someone who is dedicated to their work right now is paramount. Both me and my partner had an exceptional experience buying our new property and Gary made this a pleasure.

We have sold 3 properties and purchased 2 with the help of Gary which alone is a great testament but I would like to reiterate further how good the service really was. With regular communication we were kept up to date and Gary in particular was so helpful when another estate agent basically cost us the sale of our property. He went beyond his duty to help us resolve the problem. Can’t recommend him enough.

Really outstanding service, Gary Latcham is the best estate agent my husband and I have ever dealt with.When buying our current home he was almost always available (if not he responded very quickly to emails), replied promptly to queries, kept in regular touch with all parties while the purchase was going through, and was generally helpful above and beyond the call of duty.I subsequently contacted him for a rental valuation on behalf of ourParish Council, and he couldn't have been more helpful, even though he knew from the start it was very unlikely he would be awarded the management of the property.Recommend unreservedly.

I have known Gary for 21 years now and over that time he has been brilliant in handling the buying and selling of my properties. He takes all the hassle out of what would be a very stressful time. Gary does what he says he is going to do, when he says he will do it and does not 'faff' around. He keeps you fully updated at every stage. He is the real deal! If it wasn't for Gary I don't think our house sale would have happened.He communicated constantly with ourselves and our buyers to make sure all parties were happy and kept informed of any situation. He was always there when you needed him!No amount of questions or queries were too much trouble even when he was supposed to be on holiday!Then when it came to our house purchase he was on hand again to help. Contacting the other agents and solicitors to make sure all went smoothly.He certainly earns our respect for his total professionalism and would not hesitate to use him again ( but hopefully not that soon though! )There are a lot of agents out there but I would doubt you would find one better.

I thought I should mention that at the beginning of the process the appraisal of your home is quite unnerving. Many of us are amateur agents with access to online advertising and have "a clue" about the value of our homes (and a hope of what it's worth too!). Other agents who visited were far less equipped to explain their valuations, in one case a preconceived perception clearly prevented them from considering anything else. Gary took time to fully explain how he had appraised the property, he went into more detail than the obligatory waving of house details that have recently sold close by. This gave me confidence to instruct his agency to market our property; he was spot on and we sold exceptionally quickly.
The excellent service we received alleviated the stress experienced when moving home and as I was dealing with two moves at this time, their actions went a very long way. "
