So, it seems like forever that James and I have been talking about setting up our own estate agency business, one that combines our vast experience in the property industry and our complete belief that customer service comes before absolutely everything else!
That’s why we decided, right from early on that we would offer all of our sellers a 0-week contract, that way we have to make sure that we are looking after our clients exceptionally well from day one because if not, they can walk away at any point!! Now that shows just how much confidence we must have in the level of service we provide.
I won’t lie and say that the thought of establishing a brand new estate agency just before Christmas and at the end of what’s been probably the most difficult year any of us have faced (during which we’ve seen everything we know turned upside down as a result of Coronavirus and the two resulting lockdowns) isn’t daunting, but as everyone keeps telling me ‘ if you wait for the perfect time to do it, you’ll never do it at all!!’ So, we thought why not!! Let’s get the name, the branding and the website launched before Christmas and then aim to start trading officially as of Monday the 4th of January 2021.
As I type this, the operating software is being finalised, Rightmove and Zoopla are creating our accounts, our business cards and stationery are being produced and our stock of For Sale/ Sold boards is being created! We’ve signed the lease on our new serviced office at The Knowledge Centre in Wyboston Lakes and we now just can’t wait to get stuck into doing what we do best…Offering exceptional service to sellers and buyers alike, with sound advice (which is what you would expect after over 50 years of combined experience between James and I) and complete honesty and transparency in everything we do.
This is just the start of our journey and we hope that you’ll be a part of how it continues to grow and succeed.
